I'm in the process of painting my shield.
Still have the paint the back, the red design on the front, and attach the arm strap to the back.

I made the edging surface intentionally warped to be more realistic. The Link I'm portraying in my skit is at the very end of the game, after he's battled every boss and endured all the monsters and elements. He's been through a mountain of lava, causing the metal to warp and then through blizzardous regions, allowing for even more distortion. Not to mention all the bashing from combat it's taken. That thing is NOT going to be perfectly smooth and pristine by the end of the game. xD

As do I. xDD It's a very nice color. Too bad it gets covered up for the most part by the red. But alas, Miyamoto likes cramming details into every empty space, eheheh.
