Finally finished my suspenders for Frodo. They took waaaay too long. ;__; All that's left is the waistcoat.

And I made the shirt too. Hence why you're probably having trouble finding one like it ;)

Yeah, pattern books at fabric stores usually have at least one or two shirts like this in the costume section.

That wouldn't be practical, as the actual patters aren't in books.

The books are more like catalogs, that tell you which number the garment you want to make is, then you go over to the large file cabinets with tons of different envelopes of patterns and find the number you want.

I can't imagine libraries really having books with usable patterns, as those wouldn't really be the kind of thing you can return for others to check out, since patterns need cutting for a particular size, marking, pinning, etc.
